FRIENDS, FAMILY, LEDERHOSEN, dirndls, AND A WHOLE LOT OF FUN
The Bavarian Festival Parade is just as well known as the Bavarian Festival itself drawing thousands of spectators and featuring more than 100 entries. Locals refer to "Parade Sunday" as a local holiday and you can't help but feel German for a day as you watch the marching bands, dance clubs, dignitaries and of course, the Bavarian Princess and her court glide down Main Street. The "Kinder Parade" which literally translates to "kids parade" is especially for the little ones to celebrate the German Heritage of Frankenmuth and Bavarian Festival. Its fun, festive, and there's nothing cuter than seeing babies dressed in lederhosen and dirndls.

The Kindertag Parade is for children to enjoy and celebrate German heritage. Each participant will receive a popsicle at the end of the parade by the kids area.
Frankenmuth River Place Shops and ends at Rosstal St (directly behind Zehnder's Restaurant)
The parade entries will proceed east on Jeffereson toward Weiss Street. Entries will be able to recognize the normal landing area near Schaefer & Beirlien (located at the corner of Weiss and Jefferson) where it concludes.
Churchgrove St (near St. Lorenz School) then turns east on Genesee (Junction Rd) to Main St (M83) then south to Jefferson
