Thursday kicks off the festival with the maibaum raising ceremony, maibaum dancers, Bavarian Festival princess announcement, opening ceremonies, and keg tapping in the main tent.

Friday features the street party, where there will be a variety of vendors and family activities, and live bands.

The fun continues Saturday with the cornhole tournament, Kindertag Parade, Duck Race, and more live bands.

The Bavarian Festival concludes on Sunday with the parade starting at 1:00pm.

The parade entries will proceed east on Jeffereson toward Weiss Street. Entries will be able to recognize the normal landing area near Schaefer & Beirlien (located at the corner of Weiss and Jefferson) where it concludes.

Bavarian festival was awesome!! My whole family came this year and we loved watching the parade, exploring Frankenmuth, and experiencing all the German traditions.

The fireworks display held on Saturday evening was spectacular! I think it's worth a visit just for the fireworks displays, personally.

Must visit event! The entire weekend celebrates tradition and community. We especially loved the live bands, food, and walking around downtown Frankenmuth.

Bavarian Festival never disappoints. Nice variety of food and beverage vendors with all my German favorites! We enjoyed the events and bands so much that we joined the team of volunteers.
